Mexborough Civic 'Battle of the Bands' Winners
DoWnslide took 1st place in the Mex Civic Battle of the Bands 2009 competition on Saturday night. With a total of 40 bands entered, the competition has seen some of the best bands in the area battling it out to take top spot.
On the night there were 5 finalists who all pulled out top drawer sets and competition was tough! Killer sets from Cause of Denial, Tiananmen, Uberstande and Keelix put the pressure on but DoWnslide came out on top in an epic final.
Thanks to all the bands that took part and to the people that made it to the shows, we had a blast!
